Meade Electric Company, Inc. Blog Policy and Guidelines for Use
Meade Electric Company, Inc.
(Meade) is a large organization with a growing need
to communicate internally more effectively across multiple corporate boundaries and geographies.
In order to do this, Meade has established an online internal organizational blog known as the “One Meade Blog”.
We have developed this policy and guidelines for those who wish to participate. The blog is intended to be used
in order to communicate about our business, our successful projects, and personal events that you would like to share.
We encourage use of this new communication tool by submitting comments, pictures or even replying to another post
submitted by one of your peers. Linking to the blog site can be made by accessing the Meade corporate website at www.meade100.com, going to the employee login tab at the top of the screen and selecting the blog link.
Use your first three initials of your last name and employee ID as your username and the last 4 digits of
your social security number as your password in order to access the blog. You may also send an e-mail with pictures,
videos, or any information to OneMeadeBlog@meade100.com. You will be asked to agree to the terms of use when
you log on to the site for the first time.
Legal Liability:
When you decide to give your opinions via blog, you are legally responsible for your commentary. Individual
bloggers or those contributing to the blog by posting comments or sending a contribution to the “One Meade Blog”
e-mail can be held personally liable for any commentary deemed to be defamatory, obscene (the legal definition of “obscene”),
proprietary, or libelous (whether pertaining to Meade, individuals, or any other company for that matter). For these reasons,
bloggers should exercise caution with regards to exaggeration, colorful language, guesswork, obscenity, copyrighted materials,
legal conclusions, and derogatory remarks or characterizations.

for your blog per the Proprietary Information Agreement. To obtain a copy of
your agreement, please contact Elizabeth Newman at EN@Meade100.com.
